into the league, and the difference was noticed immediately. The rule
system remained intact, although the option to franchise an additional
player by forfeiting your first round draft pick was introduced. The
new members and the rule change helped to improve the quality
of the league.
almost every season, some teams changed ownership. Josh, waiting patiently
for the fate of Rob's team, was the first new member added to the
league, taking over Rob's old team and establishing the Marietta Malice.
Dale was able to claim Aaron's team and reform them into the Liquor
Legion. Both teams were very strong throughout the season and into
division was able to hold onto the title for another season. The Fightin'
Plankton (the returning Superbowl champions) were able to reach the
playoffs again, but they fell quickly to the upstart Marietta Malice. Ultimately,
the Liquor Legion was able to knock out the Malice and went on to meet The Bitchmonkeys
in the Superbowl. The Bitchmonkeys, even with the mighty Priest
Holmes, were unable to overcome the onslaught from the Liquor Legion,
and so the trophy remained in the hands of the Yankee division.
